What is Facebook? Facebook, Inc. is an American online social media and social networking service company based in Menlo Park, California. Its website was launched on February 4, 2004, by Mark Zuckerberg, along with fellow Harvard College students and roommates Eduardo Saverin, Andrew McCollum, Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes.

Facebook ads

What is Facebook ads? An advertising platform developed by Facebook Inc. Facebook has one-third of the world population which is about 2 billion people. With such a large audience, every business is bound to find their customers on the Facebook platform.

Facebook allows you to micro-target your exact customer based on demographics, age, sex, race, country, zip code, job titles, interests, movies, behaviors, buying habits, and many more other specific targeting options.

First click attribution

What is first-click attributionFirst-click attribution is a type of web analytics model in which the first click that brings a visitor to a website is given credit for any sale or conversion that ultimately takes place.

Marketing Format

What is Marketing Format? Format in terms of content format is the manner in which content is arranged or presented. For example, a video or blog or a podcast.

What is marketing framework? To understand marketing framework, it is best if I first explain what the word "framework" means.

Framework is a basic structure underlying a system, concept, or text. 

Framework in terms of Marketing Framework is a way to organize how you will do your marketing for your company, business, or client.

Marketing Frequency

What is Marketing Frequency? Frequency is the number of occurrences of a repeating event per unit of time. In terms of digital marketing, frequency is how often a task is performed. For example,

  • The frequency of a blog post
  • The frequency of Twitter, Instagram, Facebook update
  • how often a purchase is made
  • how often you upload videos on YouTube
  • how often you upload a podcast episode
  • You get the idea.

Marketing Frequency capping

What is marketing frequency capping? Frequency capping is limiting (capping) the number of times (frequency)  an advertisement can be shown to a visitor or audience.

If the frequency capping is 20 times, then after an ad has been shown to you 20 times, that ad will not be shown to you again.

This restriction is applied to all websites that serve ads from the same advertising network.

Funnel. Marketing Funnel

What is a marketing funnel? Marketers have described the process of how customers find your business online with the image of a funnel.

The assumption is that a large group of users find your company, and they go through increasing levels of engagement to then ultimately buy your product.
